Medical Device Selection and Use
There is no "one size fits all" when considering the therapeutic medical device needs of your patient – whether they are portable oxygen, Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) devices and interfaces, a nebulizer machine or invasive or non-invasive ventilation – you need to be confident about the care your patient receives and if the medical device selected is the most appropriate.
Our Registered Respiratory Therapists are experienced professionals who have been specifically trained on respiratory modalities and their function. We provide training to the health care team, that make decisions regarding device selection to ensure everyone is knowledgeable about the medical devices and clinical utility on patients.
